One of six true freshmen on the Wildcats’ roster…Pre-Chico Days: A 2021 graduate of Inderkum High School in Sacramento…Scholar athlete with four years on the honor roll…Personal: Born February 24, 2003, in Sacramento…Daughter of Gregory and Hidie…Has one younger brother, Zach…Her parents are her heroes (“They work so hard for my brother and I so we can achieve our dreams”)…She admires sportsmanship “because it shows how much the people around you love and respect the sport”…Chose to attend Chico State “because it felt like a family and everyone on the team was so welcoming and friendly. I knew this is where I wanted to go”…Her greatest sports moment is when she scored four goals on her birthday…The most interesting thing she’s ever done is backpack in the woods for a week with her family…The most impressive thing she’s ever accomplished is graduating from high school with a 4.0 GPA…Has learned by playing soccer that “there are so many ups and downs with life that you just have to stay strong and work to get to where you want to be”…Enjoys reading and being around family and friends…One of her biggest talents outside of soccer: riding a unicycle…At the top of her bucket list: “Travel to Australia”…Best advice ever received came from her soccer club coach: “Always keep a positive mindset even when things get hard”…Majoring in environmental science…Wants to eventually work for the Department of Justice or a private organization to help protect the environment.
