Personal
- Born September 5, 2002, in Santa Barbara
- Daughter of Michael and Danielle
- Has two siblings, Evan and Audrey
- Her grandpa is her hero (“He passed from cancer, but he taught me so much. He fought so hard and he never gave up and because of him this is what I hold myself to. Seeing everything he went through and how he handled it always with a smile on his face showed me that no matter what the circumstances are in life, I can always find something to be grateful for. My grandpa has helped shape me into the person I am today. I play every game for him; I write his name on my wrist as a reminder of who/what I am playing for each game.”)
- The person she most admires in the sports world is Naomi Girma (“I just watched her compete at the Olympics and win a gold medal. She was the best defender in the tournament and I hope to be a player like her this season.”)
- Favorite course at Chico State is Developmentally Appropriate Elementary Physical Education with Layne Case
- Chose to attend Chico State “because I wanted to be a part of this family. The culture throughout our team including coaches is like no other team I have ever been a part of. Especially with being a transfer, it was hard for me to just pick up and move mid-year, but this team made the transition incredibly easy and I feel as if I have been here for my entire career. I am so grateful for everything this program and university as given me thus far”
- Her greatest sports thrill is leading her Dos Pueblos High School team to first place two years in a row and for the first time in school history
- The most interesting thing she’s ever done in travel to London, Paris, New York, and New Jersey with her teammates
- The most impressive thing she’s ever accomplished is graduating college! Also completing her credential program at the same time as the fall soccer season.
- Has learned how to build relationships by playing soccer (“Whether it be learning to be a better friend or getting more comfortable leaning on someone else, being a part of a team has taught me so much about relationships that could not have been taught elsewhere”)
- Enjoys going to the beach, traveling, taking walks, or camping.
- Her biggest non-sports talent: “Realistically barking like any size dog. ”
- At the top of her bucket list: “I want to travel the world to other countries and do work to help better other people’s lives. I also want to go sky diving!”
- Had the chance to travel to London, Paris, New York, and New Jersey all for soccer with my teammates and coaches.
- Best advice ever received came from her mom: “Stay focused and just do you”
- Majoring in Kinesiology
- Graduated with her undergraduate degree from Chico State in May and will now continue with her credential program which will conclude in May 2025—plans on teaching middle school physical education back home in Santa Barabara while obtaining her masters degree in Kinesiology online. Hopes to coach soccer at either the high school or city college level.
