Personal
- Born May 22, 2002 in Santa Rosa
- Daughter of Tim and Ingrid
- Has an older sister, Claire, who is also her hero (“She also played college soccer, so having someone to look up to is really inspiring. Having a sport to bond us is a really cool and special thing. Being able to bond with similar experiences has made our relationship stronger, even more than I thought it could”)
- Favorite course at Chico State is Beginners Golf with Marc Jensen
- Chose to attend Chico State “because of the family-like environment and the competitive mentality of the team. I knew after meeting a few girls that this is where I wanted to spend four years. There is also a huge emphasis on academics on this team which is so important to me. This gave me the confidence that I knew I was going to thrive academically here”
- Her greatest sports moment is being given the "rock" award by her team after the 2023 season
- The most interesting thing she’s ever done is skydive
- The most impressive thing she’s ever accomplished: “I read a 400-page book in one day”
- Has learned time management by playing soccer (“Balancing school, a sport, and friends has all been challenging but is setting me up for life. I have learned to prioritize things and have learned how to use my free time well”)
- Enjoys reading, getting ice cream and golfing when she has free time
- Her biggest non-sports talent is burping
- In seventh grade, one her teachers thought her name was Bryan (“and I was too shy to correct him, so for about four months he kept getting my name wrong”
- At the top of her bucket list: “I want to teach overseas”
- Best advice ever received came from her dad: “Fight the good fight. He says this to me before every game reminding me that no matter happens you can only control want you do and that should be good”
- Majoring in liberal studies
- Will be enrolling in the teaching credential program at Sonoma State
- Plans to become a teacher “and teach a classroom full of young kids!!”
