- Daughter of Matthew and Donna
- Has one older sister, Jacqueline, who is also her hero (“Whenever she puts her mind to something, she is determined to do everything in her power to succeed. As a result, she is a Second Lieutenant in the Marines, played D-I lacrosse at UC Davis, and traveled throughout Europe for months. She shows me that with the right mindset, anyone can be unstoppable”)
- The person she most admires in the sports world is 49ers offensive assistant coach Katie Sowers (“She is on the right path to living her dream as an NFL head coach while serving as a trailblazing inspiration to all women”)
- Favorite course at Chico State is Magic, Witchcraft, and Religion, taught by Brian Brazeal
- Why she chose to attend Chico State: “I felt like I belonged here. Chico is exactly what I wanted in that it is a college town, it has a beautiful campus, the people are so inviting, and there are so many hiking trails around. When I was offered a spot on the soccer team, it was like a dream come true!”
- Her greatest sports moment: “I spent two weeks in Europe with my soccer team and we were undefeated against several French and English teams”
- The most interesting thing she’s ever done is backpack throughout Europe with her friend for a month (“We visited the U.K., Denmark, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, and Spain”)
- The most impressive thing she’s ever accomplished is hike El Capitan, Half Dome, and Clouds Rest in Yosemite
- Has learned by playing soccer that “mistakes don’t matter, what matters is what you do after the mistake”
- Enjoys surfing, swimming, cooking, and bowling when she has some free time
- Can play the piano and saxophone
- Her biggest talents outside of soccer: singing, juggling, and being “a spikeball master”
- Is a CPR certified lifeguard
- Claims “no Rubik’s Cube can stump me”
- At the top of her bucket list: “Going hot air ballooning in Cappadocia, Turkey”
- Best advice ever received came from her high school lacrosse coach Angelyn Brown: “Always expect myself to give 100 percent”
- Majoring in psychology
- Plans on attending law school to eventually pursue a career as a lawyer.
