- Daughter of George and Lourdes
- Has two siblings, Melina and twin sister Nicole
- Her parents are her heroes (“They always believe in me even when I don’t believe in myself, and continue to support me in every aspect of my life”)
- The person she most admires in the sports world is Mia Hamm and former Wildcats teammate Sarah Emigh (“She inspired a whole generation of girls to play soccer and she continues to be an advocate for women’s soccer today. She paved the way for young girls by being one of the greatest female athletes of all time. Sarah Emigh who inspired me to be the player I am today”)
- Favorite course at Chico State is Global Nutrition, taught by Keiko Goto
- Chose to attend Chico State “because of how welcoming everyone was and it felt like home to me”
- Her greatest sports moment is “having the opportunity to play collegiate soccer at Chico State”
- The most interesting thing she’s ever done is live in Germany for four years and travel all over Europe
- The most impressive thing she’s ever accomplished is teaching her dog to roll over
- Has learned by playing soccer “to embrace failure. It allows me to grow and be able to take action to avoid making repetitive mistakes”
- Enjoys petting dogs (especially Golden Retrievers and Corgis) and drink ice coffee when she has some free time
- Her twin sister Nicole plays soccer at Chaminade University in Hawaii
- At the top of her bucket list: “Playing soccer in Europe”
- Best advice ever received came from one of her old coaches: “Never forget that there is always a bigger picture and a greater story, everyone is fighting a battle we might not know about”
- Majoring in nutrition and food sciences
- Hoping to work in the humanitarian nutrition field, and possibly moving back to Europe.
