As a Freshman (2025-26)
– Appeared in six tournaments in her first season with the Wildcats
– Played 13 rounds
– Finished the season ranked No. 230 in the West/South Central Region and No. 736 nationally by Scoreboard powered by Clippd
– Averaged 83.9 adjusted strokes per round
– Recorded a 107-300-7 head-to-head record
– Lowest 54-hole score was 260
– Lowest 36-hole score was 154
– Lowest round score was 77
– Best finish came at The Big Freeze, where she tied for 38th out of 56 players
– Best performance relative to field size came at the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout, where she tied for 46th out of 102 players at 10-over par
– Finished tied for 24th at the CCAA Championships
Pre-Chico Highlights
– A 2025 graduate of Clovis West High School in Fresno
– Helped lead the Golden Eagles to the Valley Championship in Fall 2023
– Earned multiple honors in girls’ golf, including All-League, All-CIF, team MVP, Most Improved, and Coach’s Award
– Competed in numerous JGANC tournaments, highlighted by finishing 11th at the 77th Len Ross Memorial Jr. in 2024, tied for 7th at the J. Miller Jr. in 2024, 8th at the Visalia City Junior, and tied for 8th at the 78th Len Ross Memorial Jr. in 2025
Personal
– Born April 8 in Clovis, California
– Daughter of Caleb and Sylvia
– Has one brother, Michael
– Her greatest sports moment so far was shooting 32 during a local 9-hole tournament: “It was very full circle since I had played those tournaments since I started taking golf seriously, and it was exhilarating to see my progress on a scorecard.”
– Outside of golf, enjoys baking: “I enjoy following a recipe to produce a delicious result, and it so happens I have a knack for it.”
– Favorite athletes are Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Collin Morikawa, Scottie Scheffler, and Nelly Korda
– Chose Chico State because of “the architecture, location, sense of community, and Division II women’s golf program as well as the nursing program.”
– The best advice she has ever received came from her mom: “Take things one step at a time, since doing everything at once is an easy way to be overwhelmed.”
– Majoring in Pre-Nursing, expected to graduate in Spring 2029, and plans to pursue a career as a travel or pediatric registered nurse
