Personal
- Born April 10, 2004, in Sacramento
- Daughter of Ross and Ida
- Has three younger siblings: Emma, Colin, and Aubrey
- Her mom is her hero (“She came to the United States when she was only eight years old with little to nothing. She worked for what she has and yet she still strives to make our lives better one day at a time. Through the hard times and the not-so-good days, she will always have a smile on her face. When she has something on her mind she will do it 110 percent. She is not only such an amazing mom and a hard worker, she has taught me so many things that I wouldn’t be where I’m at today without her. Many people have celebrities or athletes as their hero, but I'm lucky enough to call my mom my hero”)
- The person she most admires in the sports world is Tiger Woods (“I admire Tiger’s ability to have a strong mental game even through some of his worst rounds. His passion for the game is what I strive for and look to do in the future. Even when his golf world is suddenly crumbling down, Tiger walks his holes like nothing is wrong, and that is one of the reasons I look up to him as much as I do”)
- Chose to attend Chico State “for the community. Ever since I first stepped on campus in August with my best friend, Maya Snyder, we both knew that Chico was the place for me. I am someone who enjoys spending time with her family, and coming from Sacramento it’s only a two hour drive to get to school. I am so lucky to have the ability to come home when I want and see my family when I miss them. Also being able to continue playing the sport I love was really important to me, and Chico State gave me the chance to do that”)
- Her greatest sports moment was playing with her high school team “and finally seeing my hard work pay off shooting a 72 at the end of the round. I remember looking down at my scorecard and seeing five birdies and a few double bogeys, and yet still managed to shoot even on 18”
- The most interesting things she’s ever done have occurred on the water: “I have lived on the river practically my whole life, so being a river baby is a given. I learned how to wakeboard when I was five years old, and now can easily clear the entire wake behind a boat. I just recently learned how to surf, and the longest I've gone without holding onto the rope is five minutes”
- The most memorable round of golf she’s ever played was during the summer of her senior year in college: “I was able to play Pebble Beach, Spyglass, and Spanish Bay all in the span of three days. I played 18 holes a day with my grandma by my side. I just cherished the wonderful views that came along with the golf and my grandma and I being able to spend that time alone”
- Has learned that “golf is all about your mental strength. Yes, it's a very hard sport to perfect, but it all comes down to when you’re alone, being able to keep the strength to continue the round even when you’re not having the best day on the course. A lot of sports are a team effort, but the difference between that and golf is that when you’re out there on the course, it’s you that hits the next shot, you that putts the ball in the hole, and you your competing against”
- Enjoys putting on her giant Beats headphones and listening to her 74-hour playlist when she has some free time
- Says wakeboarding is her biggest non-golfing talent
- Can play the guitar
- At the top of her bucket list: “Go to France and see the Eiffel Tower sparkle at night”
- Best advice ever received came from her mom: “It’s okay to have fun, but it comes down to the commitment that you have in your schoolwork and studies, remember to ‘play hard, and work harder’”
- Majoring in business administration
- Plans to work for the family business after graduating and “expanding their take on social media.”
