2019–20
All-CCAA cross country selection…Kicked off XC season with a 24th place finish and a 6k time of 22:55.4 September 23, 2019 at the Stump Invitational…Placed 36th (23:05.5) October 12, 2019 at the Western Washington Classic…Raced to a 15th place finish (22:46.3) October 26, 2019 at the CCAA Championships, helping the Wildcats capture the program’s 12th straight conference crown…Recorded a PR time of 21:37.7 on the way to a 31st place showing November 9, 2019 at the NCAA West Regional…Concluded XC campaign with a time of 21:40.8 at the NCAA Championships…Ran just one event during the 2020 track & field season, finishing third in the 5,000m (PR time of 17:49.23) March 7 at the Kim Duyst Invitational…2019–20 CCAA All-Academic award winner.
2018–19
Raced to a 23:40 uniform debut at the Capital Cross Challenge while placing 132nd overall…Lopped nearly a minute off her previous best 6k time (22:47) at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational, finishing the Open race in 30th place…Her effort helped the Wildcats’ second squad to finish third as a team out of 22 schools in the Open race...Finished as the ‘Cats’ ninth runner at the UC San Diego Triton Invitational, placing 30th out of 121 finishers…Concluded the fall campaign with a 10th place run at the UC Davis Doc Adams Invitational…Began the track season with a time of 5:02 in the 1,500m and 2:30 in the 800m during the Wildcat Invitational…Sacramento State’s Hornet Invitational brought improvements at both distances while recording a 4:55/2:24 double…Recorded a 1,500 PR time of 4:48 at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic…Ran a 2:24 800m PR at the Chico Twilight Invitational…Concluded the spring with a 4:53 1,500m at the Bryan Clay Invitational.
2017-18
Sat out the cross country season due to injury…On the track, raced to a 1,500-meter seasonal-best of 5:12 at the Chico Twilight Invitational.
Pre-Chico Days
Raced to a 19:37 finish time at the Stanford Invitational during her senior season at Clovis North High School…Followed with a 19:54 run at the Clovis Invitational...Finished 14th in the Tri-River Athletic Conference Championships and followed up with a 16th place run at the Central Section Championships…Concluded the season with a 19:31 PR run at the State Championships, where she placed 102nd overall…Placed 11th at the 2017 California State cross country meet…On the track, recorded PRs of 5:28 in the 1,600m and 12:11 over 3,200m.
Personal
Born September 7, 1999, in Fresno…Daughter of Daniel Lustyan and Susan Revis…Has four older siblings: Daniel, Lauren, Seth, and Tyler…The person she most admires in the sports world is Kobe Bryant (“When I started my first sport, soccer, in first grade, my brothers would always tell me to ‘Go Kobe on ’em,’ which they still tell me to this day”)…Favorite course at Chico State is Nutrition and Disease, taught by Deborah McCafferty…Chose to attend Chico State because “I was interested in Chico just for running initially, but once I visited I fell in love with the downtown, the people, and the campus”…Her greatest sports moment is running at the 2019 NCAA Cross Country Championships in Sacramento (“with hundreds of Chico State fans surrounding our team on every inch of the course!”)…The most interesting thing she’s ever done is living, running, and working in Truckee all summer with 17 people from the Wildcats cross country team for the altitude/hill gains…The most impressive thing she’s ever accomplished: “I get equally shocked looks when I tell people I’ve downed 13 tacos in one sitting, or that I have ran a five-minute mile”…Has learned by running cross country that “Hard work and facing adversity is actually the best part of running”…Enjoys watching shows on Netflix and Hulu, shopping at Trader Joe’s, and laying out at the WREC when she has some free time…Loves to dance…At the top of her bucket list: “Seeing a bear on a run”…Best advice ever received came from Wildcats head coach Gary Towne: “Kayyyyyyyyyyy, go!”…Majoring in nutrition…Plans to run professionally while pursuing a career in public health.
