Began her Chico State career with a 69th place run at the Capital Cross Challenge…Recorded a 6k PR time of 22:08 at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational…Finished 29th at the UC San Diego Triton Invitational as the ‘Cats’ eighth runner…Finished 21st at her first CCAA Championship, and was named the conference’s Newcomer of the Year…Recorded a 74th place finish at the West Regional meet…Bounced back with an 84th place run at the NCAA Championships meet while scoring for the team…On the track, began the season with a 1,500m time of 5:08 and a 18:33 5k at the Wildcat Invitational…Recorded an 18:04 5k personal best at the Hornet Invitational...Lopped over a full minute off her 10k PR at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic with a 37:43 run…Concluded the spring with a 17:57 5k PR at the Bryan Clay Invitational…Earned two CCAA All-Academic Awards…USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country Team selection.
 
Pre-Chico Days
Finished first or second in each race of her sophomore cross country season at Butte College leading up to the State Championships…Named the 2017 Golden Valley Conference individual champion…Placed second in the Nor Cal Championships…Finished season with a 23rd place outing at the State XC Championships…On the track, was the GVC 10k champion and recorded a 5k PR of 18:53.
