Chico State Athletics

Another of the talented athletes that came into the Chico program last fall and redshirted the cross country season, Shannon Rich has shown potential to excel at the collegiate level.  During her high school running at Rancho Cotate, Rich ran to 18:55 mark on the Woodward Park course at the State Championships and also notched an 11:06 3,200m PR on the track. Although she missed competing in the fall of her freshman year due to an injury Shannon recorded a nice 18:28 5k mark on the oval in the spring.  With a great background of fast running Rich will be a great addition to the squad this fall.
