Biography

With Foothill High School (Pleasanton)
- Lettered in cross country, track & field and soccer
- Help the cross country team win the East Bay Athletic League
- Voted team MVP five times, three in track and two in cross country
- Holds the school record in the 3 mile in cross country
- Selected as Rookie of the Year in both cross country and track

Personal
- Born July 30 in San Francisco
- Parents are Joseph and Lauren
- Has one sister, Madyson
- Volunteer work includes: Girl Scouts bronze award, passing out thanksgiving meals every year to homeless shelters through the Berkeley police department, and setting up and organizing the J.D.R.F walk. Alongside volunteering randomly at my elementary and high school
- Club members include National Honors society, Kids against hunger, girl up, R.A.G.E leadership club, Spanish Club, Peer Advocates.
- Earned a first degree black belt in high school in 2018
- Her hero is her grandfather because "he is such a strong willed person with so much character whether it's good or sarcastic. He has taught me so much in life but most importantly to keep going no matter the situation I am in. Many of my family has inspired and helped me but my grandpa is someone who I truly owe it to."
- Admires US Soccer star Alex Morgan because "Growing up I played soccer my whole life and she was someone I always looked up to. Starting soccer at such a late age and striving to victory and ended being one of the best. While she was my motivation for soccer it also translates into running and how even though I started my running journey later than most runners, I can still strive to work hard, have dedication, and do what I want to do."
- Chose Chico State because "at first I only knew the school due to my mom going here. I emailed Chico State my junior year at the start of track season to say, 'mom guess who I emailed.' As the track season went on and I kept emailing with Chico, I knew it was the place for me just like it was for my mom."
- When asked about her greatest sports moment thus far, she said "I have has several moments that will always be great towards my sports career, but my greatest was my first cross country race. It was such a memorable moment and the reason I'm here today."
- The most impressive thing she has done outside of sports is "being a big sister. When my sister was seven she was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, and since then I knew I really had to step up. it's my greatest accomplishment because I know that her life was completely changed a couple years ago and I want to be the person that doesn't treat her differently because of it and be able to help her flourish and embrace it."
- Outside of sports, her best talent is being adventurous
- When having free time, she likes to hang out with friends and family, participate in other hobbies like skiing, hiking, swimming and going to the gym
- On her bucket list is going skydiving
- A hidden talent of her is "I am able to crack my ears."
- The best advice she received was from her mom, "be kind and take {expletive} from no one." She said "it's something I live by constantly."
- Majoring in Psychology with career aspirations to become a forensic psychologist
