Biography

2009-2010: Finished seventh at the Irvine Invitational…22nd place showing at the Stanford Invitational…Posted a second place finish at the Willamette Invitational…Helped lead the Wildcats to a CCAA team title with her fifth place finish…Followed up with a 15th place finish at the NCAA West Regional…Placed 32nd overall at the NCAA Championships, earning her first All-American honor…On the track, posted huge PR’s at all distances…Her 16:45 for the 5,000m is the third fastest in school history and was an NCAA auto mark…Led teammates Anna Eicholtz and Tori Tyler to a 1-2-3 sweep in the 1500m at the CCAA Championships and was a part of a 1-3-4-5-6-7-8 placing in the women’s 5k event, which helped clinch the ‘Cats first CCAA team title in six years…At the NCAA Championships, qualified for her first NCAA final with a 4:32 clocking in the 1500m prelims…Placed fifth in the NCAA Championship 1500m final with a PR and school record of 4:28.

2008-2009: Finished 46th at the Stanford Invitational…Placed 10th overall at the Willamette Invitational (18:11)…Collected a fifth place CCAA finish and came in 14th at the NCAA West Regional, earning first All-CCAA and All-West Region awards…Placed 43rd at the NCAA Championships, narrowly missing an All-American award…On the track, recorded PR’s at each distance…At the CCAA Championships, finished with second and third place finishes in the 5k and 1500m events, respectively…A week after the conference meet, posted PR’s in both the 1500m (4:34) and 5k (17:00), earning a spot in the 5k at the NCAA Championships…Finished 15th at the NCAA Champioships.

2007-2008: Had an immediate impact as a true freshman…Finished 10th overall at the Bob Firman Invitational…Placed 60th at the Stanford Invitational…Finished 30th in the CCAA Championships, but bounced back with a 22nd place effort at the NCAA West Regionals…Finished the season 81st overall at the NCAA Championships…On the track, posted solid marks across the board (4:43 in the 1500m, 10:11 in the 3k and 17:52 in the 5k…Placed seventh in the 1500m and ninth in the 3k at the CCAA Championships.
