Pre-Chico Days
A top distance runner in the Central Section competing for Madera High School…Placed among the top 10 in two of her three Central Section Championship races, including a six place finish as a her freshman year. A sixth place finish at the CMAC championships her junior year earned her a 19:35 Woodward Park pr.. On the track Martinez raced to 2:24, 5:20 PR’s for the 800 and 1600m events… The 1600m PR earned her a 3rd place finish at the 2021 CMAC championship meet.
