Redshirted in 2020 following an injury three games into the season…Batted .375 with a pair of doubles in limited action…Appeared in 14 games as a true freshman in 2019…First hit as a Wildcat was a double March 30, 2019 vs. Hawaii Hilo at the Tournament of Champions in Turlock…Blasted first career home run May 2, 2019 vs. Cal State San Bernardino during the CCAA Tournament…Pre-Chico Days: A 2018 graduate of Galt’s Liberty Ranch High School…Four-year varsity letterwinner, posting a .411 career batting average…Helped lead Hawks to three Sierra Valley Conference titles…Hit a career-high .461 in 2018 to earn the league’s Offensive Player of the Year award…Three-time All-SVC selection…Personal: Born August 5, 2000, in Galt…Daughter of Billy and Robin…Has one older sister, Cortney…The person she most admires in the sports world is San Francisco Giants coach Alyssa Nakken (“She’s breaking gender stereotypes in the world of sports and it’s amazing we get to experience that”)…Favorite course at Chico State is Adaptive Physical Education, taught by Carli Ross…Why she chose to attend Chico State: “I fell in love with the campus and atmosphere of the town”…Her greatest sports moment is “traveling with my teammates to places I’d never experience without softball”…The most interesting thing she’s ever done is jump off a waterfall in Hawaii…The most impressive thing she’s ever accomplished is recover from an ACL injury…Has learned by playing softball that “it’s very easy to get caught up in the stress and hardships we face through the sport, but the way we react to those situations will set us up for complete success in the long run”…Enjoys being outside and hiking in Upper Bidwell Park when she has some free time…Claims to be “a pretty good at pogo sticking”…At the top of her bucket list: “I want to travel to every U.S. state”…Best advice ever received came from her sister Cortney: “Life’s a garden, dig it”…Majoring in kinesiology…Plans a career in occupational therapy.
