Personal
– Daughter of Jaime and Tim Escobar
– Has two sisters, Madison and Maggie, and one brother, Mason
– Her favorite course at Chico State is Physical Education for Elementary School Teachers with Professor Case, a class that allowed her to work hands-on with kids and helped shape her future goals as an educator
– Her favorite athlete is Sis “Nicole” Bates, whose defensive skill, energy, and positivity inspire her style of play
– Chose Chico State because of the beautiful surrounding nature, the welcoming college-town atmosphere, and the immediate sense of belonging she felt after attending her first softball camp
– Her greatest sports moment so far was committing to Chico State, fulfilling her dream of playing college softball on scholarship
– Her best talent outside of softball is working with kids, which aligns with her goal of becoming an elementary school teacher
– The best advice she has ever received is “hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard,” a quote introduced to her by her dad that continues to motivate her daily
