Biography

As a Sophomore (2023)
- Started 31 of 34 games, all at catcher
- Hit .179 with 2 doubles and 6 RBIs
- Only 2 RBI game was against Holy Names (March 31)

As a Freshman (2022)
- Appeared in 24 games (all starts) behind the plate as a true freshman for the Wildcats in 2022
- Batted .278 on the season with six runs batted in
- Delivered a pair of hits and three RBI March 11, 2022 vs. San Francisco State
- Earned 2021–22 CCAA All-Academic honors

Pre-Chico Days
- A 2021 graduate of Oakmont High School in Roseville
- Four-year varsity letter winner
- Helped lead the Vikings to two Foothill Valley League titles
- Twice named First Team All-FVL
- Sac-Joaquin All-Section and Sacramento Bee All-Metro selection as a senior
- Earned team’s 2021 MVP and 2019 Defensive Player of the Year awards
- Two-time Scholar Athlete Award winner
- Served as varsity team captain

Personal:
- Born August 3, 2003, in Roseville
- Daughter of Neil and Andrea
- Has one younger brother, Ethan
- Her parents are her heroes (“They have always taught me to exhibit confidence and hold myself to high standards. They raised me to be independent and dependable, and showed me what it means to be grateful for those who surround me”)
- The person she most admires in the sports world is Olympic medalist and Hall of Fame softball player Dot Richardson (“I believe she is one of the most influential woman in softball because she advocates for young women to follow their dreams, both on the field and off”)
- Favorite course at Chico State is World Sports and Games, and her favorite instructor is Sarah Gagnebin
- Chose to attend Chico State “because of the homey environment and the beautiful campus”
- Her greatest sports moment was hitting her first grand slam to put her travel team ahead at the Colorado Sparkler
- The most interesting thing she’s ever done is shadow a doctor during a knee replacement surgery
- The most impressive thing she’s ever accomplished is earning the top 10 honors in her high school’s health careers academy
- Has learned by playing softball that “determination builds a talented athlete and dependability builds a good teammate”
- Enjoys going to the lake with friends, paddle boarding, shopping, and reading
- Her biggest talents outside of softball are “my determination and work ethic is school and towards my career goals”
- Owns a seal of biliteracy in Spanish
- At the top of her bucket list: “Explore Europe with my best friends”
- Best advice ever received came from her mom: “Don’t stress the future; focus on what you can do right now”
- Majoring in cellular and molecular biology
- Plans to go on to complete medical school in hopes of becoming a trauma surgeon.
