I always looked up to how my parents cared for others and put others before themselves”)…The person she most admires in the sports world is Olympic medalist and Hall of Fame softball player Dot Richardson (“I believe she is one of the most influential woman in softball because she advocates for young women to follow their dreams, both on the field and off”)…Chose to attend Chico State “because of the homey environment and the beautiful campus. I loved all of the brick buildings, the diversity of trees around the school, and how welcoming the girls on the softball team were”…Her greatest sports moment was hitting her first grand slam to put her travel team ahead at the Colorado Sparkler (“I was so excited that I never even slowed down around the bases”)…The most interesting thing she’s ever done is shadow a doctor during a knee replacement surgery…The most impressive thing she’s ever accomplished is “earning the top 10 honors in my high school’s health careers academy”…Has learned by playing softball that “determination is what builds a talented athlete. You don’t have to be the biggest or the strongest in order to be successful.
