Biography

As a Junior (2023)
- Started 5-of-6 games, all at catch
- Scored only run against Biola (Feb. 4)

Pre-Chico Days
- Spent three years with the Butte College softball program
- Helped Butte capture the 2022 Golden Valley Conference title and advance to the State Championships
- Two-time All-GVC selection
- Received All-North State honors and named All-Tournament catcher at the State Championships in 2022
- A 2019 graduate of Pleasant Valley High School in Chico
- Earned two varsity letters playing for the Vikings…
- Began her prep career at Paradise High School
- Also lettered in golf

Personal
- Born March 23, 2001, in Chico
- Daughter of Jay (a former Chico State assistant golf coach) and Stephanie
- Has one older sister, Savannah
- Her mom is her hero (“She is the hardest working person I know. She is kind and compassionate, and never fails to amaze me”)
- The person she most admires in the sports world is Serena Williams (“She never fails to overcome an obstacle thrown her way”)
- Her favorite course at Chico State is Finite Mathematics for Business, taught by Ann Steckel
- Why she chose to attend Chico State: “I wanted to play somewhere competitive but close to my family, and Chico is the best fit”
- Her greatest sports moment was delivering a two-out, two-strike walk-off double to clinch Butte College’s Golden Valley Conference championship
- The most interesting thing she’s ever done is go skydiving when she turned 18
- The most impressive thing she’s ever accomplished: “Being able to support myself while going to school and playing a college sport”
- Has learned by playing softball that “yes, things will be hard, but you have to do hard better”
- Enjoys lifting when she has some free time (“Weightlifting is very therapeutic for me”)
- Her biggest non-softball talent: “I am pretty decent at pickle ball”
- Admits to being a massive animal lover
