Second year in the Wildcats’ program…Pre-Chico Days: A 2020 graduate of Del Oro High School in Loomis…Won 22 games over her four-year varsity career, striking out 283 batters in 267 innings pitched…Helped lead the Golden Eagles to a pair of Foothill League titles and the 2019 Sac-Joaquin Section Division II finals…Earned one First Team and three Second Team All-FL honors…2020 Optimist All-Star selection…Also lettered in basketball…Personal: Born October 25, 2002, in Sacramento…Daughter of Chad and Kristen…Has two older twin siblings, Casey and Cody…Her roommates are her heroes (“because they put up with my jokes”)…The person she most admires in the sports world is Derek Jeter (“because he had so much respect and heart for the game and played with a lot of class”)…Chose to attend Chico State “because I really liked how the coaches and teammates care about each other and our athletic/academic success as a whole”…Her greatest sports moment is ranking No. 73 in the nation …The most interesting thing she’s ever done is trying a fresh sea urchin on the pier of Santa Barbara…The most impressive thing she’s ever accomplished is training for and finishing a half marathon…Has learned by playing softball that “the people/coaches who are the hardest on you care the most about you and your success”…Enjoys going to the gym, hiking, boating, and listening to music when she has some free time…Cites shopping as her biggest non-softball talent…Plays the piano…Claims “I know how to do the Reject dance”…At the top of her bucket list: “Live abroad for a portion of my life”…Best advice ever received came from her travel ball coach and long time friend Jen Birch: “The body follows the mind!”…Majoring in public health.
