– Her mother, Diana, is her hero because “she’s always there to support me, no matter what. Whenever I’m feeling down or doubting myself, she has this incredible way of lifting me up mentally and pushing me to keep going. Her unwavering belief in me and her constant encouragement make all the difference. She’s my biggest cheerleader, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without her”
– The person she most admires in the sports world is Oklahoma City Spark player Jocelyn Alo because “I’ve been told I’d make a great designated hitter throughout my softball career. Even when I’m feeling down about my performance, seeing her excel on the field inspires me to push myself harder. Her success and determination remind me that I can achieve great things too, and it keeps me motivated to keep improving”
– Chose Chico State “because of the scenery. Plus, my dad went here for football, so it’s got that family connection. It’s also the perfect distance—close enough to home but still far enough to feel like I’m getting away”
– Her greatest sports moment so far is hitting 10 home runs during her high school career, highlighted by a senior-year rivalry game in which she homered and drove in four runs
– Her best talents outside of softball are soccer and ping pong
– Plays the guitar, violin, and xylophone
– Enjoys hanging out with family and friends, traveling, and camping in her free time
– Traveling to Japan during cherry blossom season is at the top of her bucket list
– The best advice she has ever received came from her mom: “The best advice I’ve ever received is to keep going, even when you feel like giving up. There will be moments when things get tough, but if you push through and try again, you’ll find that you still have a love for whatever you’re doing. This advice has helped me stay motivated and passionate, no matter the challenges”
