Biography

As a Sophomore (2023)
- Started 14 of 37 games with all starts in the outfield
- Hit .246 with 3 doubles and 7 RBIs
- Went 2-for-4 with a double and a RBI against Holy Names (March 31)

As a Freshman (2022)
- Played in 27 games for the Wildcats as a true freshman in 2022, making 11 starts
- Recorded her first career Wildcat hit February 19, 2022 vs. Cal State Monterey Bay
- Batted .500 (7-for-14) over a four-game stretch March 5–19, 2022
- Earned 2021–22 CCAA All-Academic honors

Pre-Chico Days
A 2021 graduate of Kingsburg High School
- Four-year varsity letter winner
- Helped lead the Vikings to a pair of Central Sequoia League titles and the 2019 CIF Central Section Division II championship
- First-team All-CSL selection as a senior
- Also lettered in soccer, and was part of four CSL and three Central Coast Section title teams
- All-League Academic Award winner in both softball and soccer

Personal
- Born April 10, 2003, in Fresno
- Daughter of Matt and Lori
- Has one older sister, Lauryn
- Her grandma is her hero (“She is someone who has been my biggest supporter no matter what! I can always count on her being in the stands at every game. She is the strongest woman I know, someone who really showed me what it’s like to be resilient”)
- The person she most admires in the sports world is college softball pitcher Hailey Dolcini (“She is someone who worked extremely hard for what she wanted. She knew her worth as a player and strived for the best she could. I admire her work ethic and humble demeanor”)
- Favorite course at Chico State is Principles of Psychology, taught by Nathan Wills
- Chose to attend Chico State “because of the beautiful campus and competitive nature. I wanted to be a part of a program that was competitive, and Chico is just that”
- Her greatest sports moment: “Any time I’m with my teammates cracking jokes”
- The most interesting thing she’s ever done: “I cried while on a ropes course…one foot above the ground (#scaredofheights)”
- The most impressive thing she’s ever accomplished is get a ‘A’ in her college chemistry course
- Has learned by playing softball “to endure through tough times. I’ve also learned how to push myself beyond my limits”
- Enjoys spending time with family and friends
- Her biggest talent outside of softball is snowboarding (“You gotta love it!”)
- Claims “I’m an open book!”
- At the top of her bucket list: “Travel around the world”
- Best advice ever received: “Put your head down and grind it out”
- Majoring in public health
- Plans to continue her education after graduation and working toward becoming a registered nurse.
