She has overcome so many challenges, all with a great attitude. She has also always pushed me to be my best at all times. She is truly my biggest supporter”)…The person she most admires in the sports world is pro softball player and former University of Oregon standout Haley Cruse (“She is someone who is very motivational to me. She is very vocal about her appreciation of the game and strives to inspire the younger generation. She is one that has never let her size define her ability to play the game”)…Why she chose to attend Chico State: “I’ve always wanted to play for a competitive program. After touring the school I knew it was going to be a great fit. The campus is beautiful and the coaches were very welcoming”…Her greatest sports moment: “Winning the CIF valley championship for softball with my best friends and then going to prom with them in one day”…The most interesting thing she’s ever done is teaching herself how to snowboard (“It was very interesting, to say the least”)…The most impressive thing she’s ever accomplished is winning four section championships in her high school career…Has learned by playing softball that “no matter what, the game never stops for you.
