Chico State Athletics

As a Sophomore (2023)
- Started all but one of 51 games
- Batted a team-second best .317 with 6 doubles, a triple and 11 RBIs
- Finished ninth in the CCAA in stolen bases with 12 out of 14 attempts
- Led the team in assists with 119
- Only triple was at Cal State East Bay (April 28)
- Had 10 multi-hit games including 3 twice, one against Academy of Art (Feb. 11) and at Sonoma State (April 14)

As a Freshman (2022)
- Played 33 games as a true freshman for the Wildcats in 2022, including 25 as a starter
- Batted .235 on the season and led the ’Cats with six stolen bases in as many tries
- Posted three mutli-hit games on the season
- Singled in her Chico State debut February 4, 2022 vs. Biola
- Earned 2021–22 CCAA All-Academic honors

Pre-Chico Days 
- A 2021 graduate of Watsonville High School
- Four-year letter winner
- Help lead the Wildcatz to a pair of league titles and the 2021 CIF Central Coast Section Division I championship
- First Team All-League selection
- Earned the team’s “Clutch Player” award

Personal
- Born August 20, 2003, in Monterey
- Daughter of Abraham and Connie
- Has one younger sister (and former Watsonville High teammate), Abreanna
- Her mother is her hero (“She's the strongest woman I know”)
- The person she most admires in the sports world is Muhammad Ali (“for his work ethic in sports and advocacy”)
- Her favorite instructor at Chico State is economics professor Jacob Jennings
- Chose to attend Chico State “because of the closeness to home, and because I love the environment”
- Her favorite sports moment: “I jumped over a catcher when she already had the ball, and tagged home behind her, and was safe”
- The most interesting thing she’s ever done is explore different regions of Mexico
- The most impressive thing she’s ever accomplished is being able to land a backflip
- Has learned the importance of moving on after adversity happens by playing softball (“It’s very important not to let a small mistake ruin you, and this applies to life”)
- Enjoys going for a run or calling a family member she misses when she has some free time
- Her biggest talent outside of softball is “being able to eat!”
- Says “I value family over everything!”
- At the top of her bucket list: “Traveling out of the country with a loved one”
- Best advice ever received came from her father: “Suck it up”
- Majoring in business management entrepreneurship
- Hopes to pursue a career in beauty or “something within business.”
