One of eight true freshmen on the Wildcats’ roster…Pre-Chico Days: A 2021 graduate of Watsonville High School…Four-year letterwinner…Help lead Wildcatz to a pair of league titles and the 2021 CIF Central Coast Section Division I championship…First Team All-League selection…Earned the team’s “Clutch Player” award…Personal: Born August 20, 2003, in Watsonville…Daughter of Abraham and Connie…Has one younger sister (and former Watsonville High teammate), Abreanna…Her hero is her grandmother (“She not only gave me life but also faith, and shows me unconditional love”)…The person she most admires in the sports world is former Cal and Team USA catcher Annie Aldrete (“because she’s from a similar area as me”)…Chose to attend Chico State “because of the amazing home feeling and the beautiful scenery and welcoming environment”…Her favorite sports moment is when she jumper over a catcher and was safe at home…The most interesting thing she’s ever done is eat a cricket…The most impressive thing she’s ever accomplished is running a three-mile race in the fifth grade…Has learned perseverance by playing softball (“although the game is extremely difficult and failure bound, you have to have faith and trust in yourself and others”)…Enjoys spending time with family and friends…Her biggest talent outside of softball is “being able to roll my stomach”…Says “I value family over myself”…At the top of her bucket list: “Going to Asia”…Best advice ever received came from her father: “Suck it up”…Majoring in accounting…Plans to become an accountant or establish a career in law enforcement.
