I want to be just like that; not have hate in my life, and live a full and happy life”)…Why she chose to attend Chico State: “I have the opportunity to continue my softball career, and the campus made me feel at home”…Her greatest sports moment is making a miraculous catch in the bottom of the seventh inning during the 2019 high school section semifinals, keeping the score tied and sending the game into extra innings…The most interesting thing she’s ever done is volunteering for the softball Special Olympics in 2016 (“It made me fall in love with the game even more”)…The most impressive thing she’s ever accomplished is receiving her softball scholarship (“It has been a goal of mine for a really long time, and once I achieved it, I had more hope for other goals”)…Has learned by playing softball to “surround myself with like-minded people because they will help keep you on the path you strive to be on”…Enjoys hiking and communing with nature when she has some free time…One of her biggest talents is the ability to pick up on other sports and their techniques…At the top of her bucket list: “To travel outside of California; to anywhere”…Best advice ever received came from her dad: “It’s a marathon, not a sprint”…Majoring in biological sciences…Plans to pursue a career as a pharmaceutical chemist.
