Started every match in his first season as a Wildcat in 2019…Collected lone assist of the year September 20, 2019 vs. Fresno Pacific…Pre-Chico Days: Played two seasons at Oxnard College…First Team All-Western State Conference selection…A 2016 graduate of Hueneme High School in Port Hueneme…Earned Second Team All-Pacific View League honors as a senior…Helped lead the Vikings to the 2016 Pacific View League championship…Personal: Born June 19, 1998, in Oxnard…Son of Sergio Higuera and Maria Aracely Gutierrez…Has three older siblings: Sergio, Cinthia, and Saul…The person he most admires in the sports world is Cristiano Ronaldo (“He’s a very hard worker and he’s a very humble person”)…Favorite course at Chico State is Management 304, taught by David Agoff…Why he chose to attend Chico State: “I really like the community and especially how it’s a college town.
