Sixth year in the Wildcats’ program…Named First Team All-CCAA in 2019–20…Set single-season career highs while leading Chico State in scoring (12.4 points a game), 3-pointers (59), and field goal percentage (53.3 percent)…Second on the team in rebounding (5.9 rpg) and field goals made (130)…Finished eighth among CCAA players in 3-pointers and ninth in 3-pointers per game (2.0)…Scored in double figures in 16 contests, including six games of 20 points or more…Posted a career-high 30 points November 30, 2019 vs. Dominican…Second Team All-CCAA selection in 2018–19…Led Wildcats in rebounds (152) while ranking second on the team in 3-pointers (43) and third in scoring (10.1 ppg)…Named CCAA Player of the Week December 24–30…Appeared in all 28 Wildcats games in 2017–18…Ranked fourth on the team in 3-pointers (25)…Redshirted in 2016–17…Pre-Chico Days: A 2016 graduate of Jesuit High School in Carmichael…Helped lead the Marauders to the 2013–14 Sac-Joaquin Section Division I championship…Earned First Team All-Delta League, Second Team All-Sacramento Bee, and team MVP honors as a senior…All-Metro selection as a junior…Personal: Born January 2, 1998, in Sacramento…Son of Karla Duffy…Has two younger brothers, Elijah and Anthony…The person he most admires in the sports world is Kobe Bryant (“His work ethic was unmatched. RIP”)…Favorite course at Chico State is Men of Color in Leadership, taught by Malcolm McLemore…Why he chose to attend Chico State: “The coaches and my teammates made me feel a part of the team! The campus is beautiful and everything is super close by. Great college atmosphere!”…His greatest sports moment was making the NCAA Championship Tournament with the Wildcats in 2019–20 “even though we didn’t get to play”…The most impressive thing he’s ever accomplished is being included on the Dean’s List…Has learned by playing basketball that “if you put in the work you will see results”…Enjoys relaxing at the house, watching TV, eating, and sleeping when he has some free time…Worked on his mental and physical health during his pandemic-caused time away from the court…At the top of his bucket list: “Travel the world”…Best advice ever received: “Give it your all each time you step on the court whether someone is watching or not”…Currently working towards a master’s degree in social science…Hopes to play professional basketball, then become a middle or high school counselor while coaching basketball.
