Second year in the Wildcats’ program…Pre-Chico Days: A 2020 graduate of Churchill High School in Eugene, Oregon…Helped lead the Lancers to the school’s first Oregon 5A Playoff quarterfinals appearance in a decade in 2018…Three-time First Team All-Midwestern League selection…Named Second Team All-State as a senior…Personal: Born November 16, 2001, in Eugene, Oregon…Son of Michael Neubeck and Colleen Forbes…Has an older sister, Lucy…His mom is his hero (“She taught me how to persevere through tough times and keep a positive mentality”)…The person he most admires in the sports world is Tom Brady (“He does all the little details the right way in order to win”)…Favorite course at Chico State is economics…Chose Chico State because of “the amazing campus as well as the strong soccer program, team atmosphere and good environment”…His greatest sports moment was “scoring a hat trick against the No. 2 team in the state at the time”…The most interesting thing he’s ever done is travel to Mexico…The most impressive thing he’s ever accomplished is “graduating high school and getting through the pandemic”…Has learned by playing soccer to “build connections with your teammates because it spreads bigger then just soccer”…Enjoys watching Netflix and playing cards when he has some free time…Can ride a unicycle…At the top of his bucket list: win a national championship…Best advice ever received came from a club soccer coach: “Take opportunities when they are given to you”…Majoring in business administration…Plans to continue his soccer career and ultimately sign a professional contract.
