Appeared in five matches for the ’Cats in 2019…Redshirted in 2018…Pre-Chico Days: A 2018 graduate of Hueneme High School in Oxnard…Led the Vikings to three Pacific View League titles…Twice named All-State, All-Region and Second Team All-America by Top Drawer Soccer…Earned All-County and All-PVL honors three times…PVL Defensive Player of the Year in 2016 and 2017…Named Southern California’s Male Youth Player of the Year by Cal South…2017 Ventura County Star Player of the Year…Captained Cal South’s Olympic Development Team to regional and national championships in 2017…Inducted into the Ventura County Sports Hall of Fame…Personal: Born February 12, 2000, in Oxnard…Son of Huber and Maria…Has two younger siblings, Janely and Fabian…His hero is Kobe Bryant (“His mentality and work ethic are inspirational and can be applied to life as well as to sports”)…The person he most admires in the sports world is Spanish professional footballer Sergio Ramos (“He has a hard work ethic and can score goals while defending his team from goals against them”)…Favorite course at Chico State is Latin America Film and Culture, taught by Dr. Sarah Anderson…Why he chose to attend Chico State: “I wanted to pursue my academic goals and represent the soccer team here.
