A former Chico State midfielder, Ralph was part of four postseason-qualifying teams during his playing career, including the Wildcats’ 2023 NCAA Championship Tournament team and the 2024 squad that went 11-3-5, earned the No. 3 seed in the CCAA Tournament, and spent much of the season in the United Soccer Coaches national rankings.
Ralph appeared in 70 matches for the Wildcats from 2021–24, totaling 25 starts. As a senior in 2024, the Placerville native started all 19 matches and logged 1,528 minutes. He scored two goals, finding the net against Stanislaus State on Sept. 28 and Cal Poly Pomona on Oct. 25, while helping Chico State post six shutouts and allow just 16 goals all season.
As a junior in 2023, Ralph played in all 20 matches, starting once and logging 732 minutes as Chico State went 11-2-7 and advanced to the NCAA Championship Tournament. As a sophomore in 2022, he appeared in 19 matches off the bench, logging 510 minutes. He played a season-high 56 minutes against Cal State Dominguez Hills on Oct. 21 and notched his lone assist of the season against Cal State East Bay on Oct. 6. Ralph appeared in 12 matches as a freshman in 2021, including five starts.
Ralph also earned several academic honors during his Chico State career, including CCAA All-Academic recognition in 2021 and 2022, the Division II Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award for 2021–22, and College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors in 2024.
Prior to Chico State, Ralph graduated from Ponderosa High School in Shingle Springs in 2020. He earned three varsity letters and helped lead the Bruins to the 2019–20 Foothill Valley League title after going undefeated in league play. Ralph was named league and team MVP as a senior, earned First Team All-FVL honors and team MVP recognition in 2018–19, and was a Second Team All-FVL selection as a sophomore.
Ralph also played four years of club soccer with San Juan SC in Rancho Cordova.
