Personal
- Born October 8, 2001, in Walnut Creek
- Son of Dan and Pam
- His Aunt Raynes is his hero (“She was always the most caring, loving and giving person in my life. When I think of holidays she is the person that comes to mind first. My father has also been a hero, and more importantly a best friend”)
- Favorite course at Chico State is Asian Literature and Film, taught by Dr. Jason Clower
- Why he chose to attend Chico State: “I admire the way Coach Green runs a golf program as well as Collin Coughenour with the strength and conditioning program”
- His greatest sports moment is “going wire to wire with Coach Green in the 2020 Chico City Championship round of 32 matchup”
- The most interesting thing he’s ever done is hike through the river and waterfalls at Utah’s Zion National Park
- The most impressive thing he’s ever accomplished is dunking a basketball
- The most memorable round of golf he’s ever played: “It was really recent. I played with teammate Dakota Ochoa, and as a twosome we combined for a total score of -13 , with a total of 1 eagle and 11 birdies. I shot a -7, 65, while Dakota shot a -6, 66. Yet the most memorable/crazy part was the fact that neither of us made a single bogey in our entire rounds. We had talked about rarely having a bogeyless round earlier that day, but we never expected to both do it the same day!”
- What he has learned by playing golf: “Patience, and understanding how to manage emotions by staying neutral”
- Enjoys going to the gym, playing basketball, or just relax and eat some good food when he has some free time
- Says cooking is his biggest non-sports talent
- Is working on his teaching skills by getting close friends into golf
- At the top of his bucket list: “Ordering steak at Ruth’s Chris”
- Best advice ever received he attributes to Michael Jordan: “I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can’t accept not trying again”
- Majoring in business marketing.
