Personal:
Born November 10, 2001, in Santa Rosa…Son of Bret and Linda…Has two older siblings, Jack and Melinda…His brother is his hero (“He is always there for me when I am going through a hard time, and has always showed me the way through life”)…The person he most admires in the sports world is Rory McIlroy (“He has had a great career and has battled through his hiccups and never gave up”)…Favorite instructor at Chico State is Jochen Nuester…Why he chose to attend Chico State: “Both my brother and sister went here and it felt like a second home to me when I was deciding on colleges”…His greatest sports moment (and the most interesting thing he’s ever done) is representing the U.S. and going to Scotland to play there for nine days…The most impressive thing he’s ever accomplished was making the California Amateur as a high school sophomore…Has learned by playing golf that “the game of golf is played on a five-inch course—between your ears”…Enjoys mountain biking up in Chico’s Bidwell Park and relaxing with his friends…His biggest talent outside of golf is making time for his family and friends (“If you don’t see me on the course, most likely I’m socializing with friends”)…Since he was five years old, he has traveled to Tijuana, Mexico with his church and build houses for people in need…At the top of his bucket list: “Play Pebble Beach”…Best advice ever received came from his dad: “The harder you work, the luckier you get”…Majoring in business marketing.
