Redshirted during his freshman year…Debuted in the 8k with a 49th-place run and 26:14 time at the Charles Bowles Invitational...Placed 21st at the Bronco Open 8k, running finishing in a personal-record (PR) time of 25:48 …Raced to a 25th-place finish at the Doc Adams Invitational...Concluded fall season with a 15:08 clocking in the team’s 5k track time trial...Did not compete during the spring season.
High School
Ran a 15:05 mark at Woodbridge and a 15:38 mark at Mt SAC during the regular season of his senior campaign...After winning an individual league title, he would place sixth in his division at the San Diego Section Championships and 20th at the State Championships… On the track Bennett recorded PR’s of 4:25 and 9:35 in the 1,600-meters and 3,200-meters events…Finished his season with a second place league run at the 3,200-meters distance.
