Pre Chico: Spector joins the ‘Cats’ for just one season after an illustrious career at SOKA University, where he was guided by Chico State Alumni Patrick Boivin…While at SOKA he set school records on the track in nearly every distance event, including 1,500-meters (3:56), 3k (8:37), 5k (14:26) and 10k (32:05)…He concluded his senior track season with a fifth place run at the NAIA Championships in the 5k event earning All-America honors… Having graduated from SOKA in four years and red shirted a cross country season along the way, Spector will add a shot in the arm to the ‘Cats’ in the fall season.
