Biography
Dunbar missed most of his freshman year of running with a bone infection in his femur that required surgery. After the recovery Miles started on the long road back to competitive distance running and has finally arrived at a point of improvement and competitiveness that has placed him back among his peers on the team. It was during the 2009 track season that Miles began to taste success again, recording PR’s at almost every distance as his consistent training sunk in and paid dividends. His best race of the year might have been his PR run at the Occidental Invitational in which he led a decent portion of the last 1600m while eventually winning his heat. Miles has started cross country 2009 already with a PR for our annual 8k time trial, hitting a splendid mark for the distance at 25:49.
