Pre-Chico Days:
Enjoyed a breakout senior cross country season at Anaheim’s Canyon High School, chopping nearly a minute off times from the previous year’s competitions…Clocked a 15:25 PR at the Mt. SAC Invitational, placing 10th in the race…Finished fifth at the Orange County Championships in 15:05 on the 3-mile layout…Won the Crestview League individual title after placing 20th in the same race as a junior…Concluded his senior season with a 15:11, 20th place run at CIF Finals, which wasn’t quite enough to advance to State…Did not compete in track his senior season due to injury.
