Pre-Chico Days
– Transferred to Chico State after one year at UC Santa Barbara, where he was part of the 2024 Big West Conference Cross Country Championship team and earned Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll recognition
– Competed in cross country and track & field at Bella Vista High School in Fair Oaks, California
– 2023 CVC League Champion in cross country
– Two-time CVC League Champion in the 800m (2022, 2024)
– Two-time DII Champion in the 800m (2023, 2024) and 2024 DII Champion in the 1600m
– Helped Bella Vista capture the 2024 DII Track & Field Team Championship
– Five-time All-Section Team selection in cross country and track & field (2022–24)
– Three-time Most Outstanding Athlete in track & field (2022–24) and two-time Team MVP in cross country (2022, 2023)
– Competed at Nike Outdoor Nationals in 2024, finishing 11th in the nation in the 800m

– Born July 6 in Sacramento, California
– Son of Keegan and Keira Kirby
– Has one sister, Kelsey, and one brother, Kaiden
– Majoring in exercise physiology with a minor in child development
– Expected to graduate in 2028
– Plans to attend medical school after graduation
– Favorite athletes include Mathieu van der Poel, Craig Engels, Lionel Sanders, Sam Long, Sam Parsons, and Tom Pidcock
– Greatest sports moment was helping Bella Vista win the 2024 DII Track & Field Championship by anchoring the 4x800m relay to victory and also winning the 1600m and 800m
– Outside of running, is talented at playing the piano and has learned two new languages
– Best advice received from his piano teacher: “Success is the sum of small efforts repeated day in and day out”
