Biography
Since running 9:05 (3200 m) at the conclusion of his senior high school track season it was known that Josh Linen has the right stuff. His college running to date has been scattered with solid marks, but interrupted by a variety of injuries that have been difficult to pinpoint in origin. The result of the inconsistent training has been unpredictable racing, which will hopefully be corrected in coming seasons. Despite missing a complete week of training at mid-season during his freshman track season, Josh was able to come back and run under 4 minutes for the 1500 m distance, while also notching an impressive 14:45 PR for 5000 m at the Occidental Invitational. If consistency can be found Josh Linen will surely be a top runner on the NCAA level in the coming years.
