Biography
Jose Garcia established himself as one of the top distance runners in Northern California during his stint at Hartnell College. Since arriving in Chico Garcia has shown signs of great running, but has been somewhat inconsistent with his performances. With the experience of his first year (in Chico) behind him Garcia appears ready to enjoy a fine senior campaign. His recent 31:10 result at the recent Wharf-to-Wharf six miler this summer is a good sign of progress.
