Raced to a debut 8k of 27:18 at the Capital Cross Challenge…Lopped a huge chunk of time off his 8k PR with a 25:43 8k finish in the open race at the Bronco Invitational…Enjoyed a big 14:51 5k track PR in the team’s postseason time trial…Concluded the fall season with a time of 25:35 and a 14th place finish at the Doc Adams Invitational…On the track, ran a modest schedule that included a 3:55 PR in the 1,500m and an 8:42 personal best in the 3,000m.
 
Pre-Chico Days
A hidden talent in the ultra-deep Southern Section, Holston enjoyed a very impressive senior cross country season running for Serrano High School in Phelan…Raced to a heat win at the Mt. SAC Invitational, running a 15:37 on the challenging course…Ran one of several sub-15 minute 3-miles on the year (14:54 final time) at the Woodbridge Invitational…Won the Apache Invitational, posting a 3-mile PR of 14:34…Finished fifth at the Section Finals with a 14:58 time on the Riverside course, before concluding the season with a 25th place run at the State Championships (15:51)…On the track, the 800-meter specialist ran 1:57 on three separate occasions and won his league title in the event.
