Biography
Jason Zapien joins former high school teammates Alan Campos, Julio Jiminez, and Manny Mejia on the Wildcat squad after enjoying a great stint at El Rancho High School. During his senior year in high school, Zapien clocked an impressive 15:38 at the Clovis Invite in Fresno, as well as a sub-15 minute mark at the Woodbridge Invite in Irvine. On the track, Zapien recorded a 3,200m PR of 9:30. Having run competitive marks in both track and cross country, Zapien has shown the ability to hopefully become a standout college runner.
