2017–18
Opened the cross country season with an 14th place run at the Riverside Invitational…Placed 16th at the Capital Cross Challenge…Finished seventh at the Western Washington Invitational, running a 31:43 on the 10k layout…Was the ’Cats fourth runner while placing fifth overall in his first CCAA XC Championship, earning All-CCAA honors…Named All-West Region thanks to a 10th place finish, helping the Wildcats secure the regional team title…A side-stitch derailed the NCAA Championship run, as he concluded the fall season with a 189th place finish at the national meet…On the track, opened the season with a 3:54/1:58 double at the Wildcat Invitational…Lowered his PR to 9:01 in the 3k steeple while placing third (behind two teammates) at Sacramento State’s Hornet Invitational…The Mt. SAC Invitational brought a massive PR for the 5k, recording a 14:07 national qualifier—the sixth-fastest time in the event in school history…The CCAA Championships brought a second place finish in the steeple and a third place run in the 5k, garnering a pair of all-conference honors…Became the ’Cats third steeple runner of the spring to break the 9-minute barrier, while also notching the eighth-fastest steeple time in program history…Qualified for the steeple final at the NCAA Championships with a 9:02 preliminary run, while doubling back the following day with a seventh place 9:00 run in the final, earning his first All American honor…Earned Second Team All-American honors the following day in the 5k, placing 11th in 14:34.
 
2016–17
Began sophomore cross country season with a 29th place finish at the Humboldt Invitational…Raced to a 24:49 PR at the Capital Cross Challenge while placing 41st overall…Placed 32nd overall at the Triton Invitational, just missing the CCAA roster…Rebounded with a 24:44 win at the Doc Adams Invitational....On the track, opened the season with a 4:00 1,500-meter PR at the Wildcat Invitational…The Hornet Invitational brought a 9:24 debut in the steeplechase…Raced to a 14:23 PR in the 5k at the San Francisco Distance Carnival, earning his first NCAA provisional mark…The following day anchored the Wildcat Distance Medley to a meet record win at the San Francisco Distance Carnival….Chopped nearly 20 seconds off his steeple PR with a 9:05 NCAA provisional effort at the Bryan Clay Invitational…Concluded his season with a fourth place run in the steeple at the CCAA Championships.
 
2015–16
Earned his spot on the XC roster with a 25:47 five-mile effort at the team’s preseason time trial…Opened the season with a 49th place finish at the Ash Creek Invitational… Placed 20th at the Garin Park XC Challenge…Finished 133rd at the San Francisco State Invitational…Bounced back nicely at the Wildcats’ 5k track time trial, recording a PR time of 15:13…Concluded the season with a 20th place run at the Doc Adams Invitational…On the track, began the spring with a fourth place (15:28) 5k at the very windy and rainy Kim Duyst Invitational…Dropped a huge 5k PR at the San Francisco Distance Carnival, posting a time of 14:43…Recorded another solid PR at the team’s 3k time trial, stopping the clock at 8:30 for the 7.5 lap event…The Chico Twilight Invitational brought a PR time of 4:01 in the 1,500m…Wrapped up the season with a 14:58 5k at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational.
 
Pre-Chico Days
A standout prep runner at La Costa Canyon High School in Carlsbad…As a senior posted PR’s in 800m (2:05.40), 1,600m (4:27.76) and 3,200m (9:33.99).
