Chico State Athletics

2012-13: Didn’t race in the fall season…  On the track finished his season with a 14:59 5th place run at the Woody Wilson Classic… Ran to a 15:15/4:11 double at the Chico Twilight Invitational… Ran a 4:07 1500m at the Wildcat Invitational… Placed 3rd in the Aggie Invitational 3k with an 8:33 pr… Opened the season with a  3rd place run at the Kim Duyst Invitational 5k with a seasonal best of 14:55.

2011-12: Redshirted on the trails and track...Posted a 15th-place showing in his first collegiate race, the Humboldt Invitational...Finished 65th at Willamette Invite in 25:56, an 8K PR...Placed 13th in the Open Division at the Santa Clara Bronco Invite with a new 25:31 PR...Finished 22nd overall at Doc Adams Invite in 25:17 PR…. Finished fall season with a second place team time trial of 14:50 for the 5k distance…Ran to an 8:51 3K at the Aggie Invite, placing 19th overall…Ran to a 15:17 5k at Chico Twilight.

High School: One of the better runners in the San Diego Section on the track and the cross country courses...Bogan finished 24th at the Mt. SAC Invitational during his senior year in the Boys Team Sweepstakes race, recording a time of 15:29...A ninth place finish in the San Diego Section DI Section Championship race helped his team to a State Championship birth where they finished 10th…Bogan finished 64th in the state finals with a 15:58 final time…On the track, Geoff managed some impressive PR’s, including a 4:18 for 1,600 meters run at his league championships during his junior year…During his senior year, Bogan split a 1:56 on his school record-breaking 4x800-meter relay team at the Mt SAC Championships…Bogan notched a nice 3,200-meter PR of 9:20 at the Arcadia Invitational after leading much of his race...Ran a time of 4:19 in the 1,600 meters at the CIF preliminaries to advance to the finals.
