Pre-Chico Days
– Competed in cross country and track & field at West Salem High School in Salem, Oregon
– Helped lead West Salem to three conference championships in cross country, with a third-place finish at the Oregon State Championships, fourth place at NXR Northwest, and seventh at RunningLane Nationals
– Four-time conference champion in track & field
– Four-year varsity runner in both cross country and track
– Three-time First Team All-Conference selection in cross country
– Competed at Nike Outdoor Nationals all four years, placing 11th in the freshman two-mile and 14th in the 2k steeplechase

– Son of Adam and Laura Fenske
– Has one brother, Micah
– Majoring in biology with a double major in Spanish
– Plans to attend Physician Assistant School after graduation
– Greatest sports moment was placing fourth as a team at NXR Northwest
– Chose Chico State because it offered an affordable out-of-state option, a strong team, and a location he loved
– Best advice received from his high school coach: “Get comfortable being uncomfortable”
