Chico State Athletics

Eddie stands as a great example of the depth and parity of the Wildcat squad that will take to the trails this fall.  Having run 25:17 in a cross country 8k, Eddie has shown great potential for success within the Chico program, but has yet to run in a championship cross country race for the ‘Cats. On the oval as a redshirt freshman, Serna scored in both the 10k and 5k events to help the men’s team to the conference title.  Serna accepted a summer internship in Fresno with a civil engineering firm. It was a great experience, but hampered his ability to have a good summer of training.  Look for Eddie to improve dramatically as the season progresses.
