2017–18
An early fall injury sidelined him for most of cross country’s regular season…Opened with a third place finish at the Western Washington Invitational…Placed sixth two weeks later in his first CCAA Championship XC race, earning all-conference honors and helping the ’Cats to their 16th straight team title…Secured All-West Region honors with an 18th place finish at the Regional Championships…Concluded the season with an 84th place run in his first NCAA Championship event…Track season brought huge PR’s and more championship honors…Delivered his first sub 4-min 1,500 as he logged a 3:54.00 PR at the Wildcat Invitational…Lowered his 5k personal best to 14:33 at the San Francisco Distance Carnival…The Mt. SAC Invitational would bring a huge 14:13 5k breakthrough, and a qualifying time for the NCAA Championships…Became the 16th straight Wildcat to win the CCAA 5k crown while earning his first individual championship title…Named All-West Region in the 5k by the USTFCCCA…Concluded the spring with a gutsy 5k run (14:17) at the NCAA Championships, resulting in an eighth place finish and First Team All-America accolades…Received two CCAA All-Academic awards…Named to USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country and Track & Field Teams.
2016–2017
Started the fall season with a 26th place run at the Humboldt Invitational...Placed 69th at the Capital Cross Challenge with a 25:13 8k PR…Concluded the fall season placing 25th overall at the Triton Invitational…On the track, began the spring with a 4:07 finish in the 1,500m at the Wildcat Invitational…Raced to a 15:02 5k at the San Francisco Distance Carnival…Won his 1,500 heat at the Chico Twilight meet with a 4:00.1 effort…. Enjoyed a big 14:44 5k PR at the Bryan Clay Invitational…Placed sixth in the CCAA 5k final, helping the ’Cats to a team title…Concluded season with a PR-tying 5k time of 14:44 at the West Coast Last Chance meet.
2015–16
Missed entire cross country season due to health issues…Finally healthy, enjoyed a nice spring season of racing…Opened with a 15:09 PR for the 5k at the San Francisco Distance Carnival…Raced to a 4:06 1,500m PR at the Chico Twilight Invitational…Recorded an 8:52 3k PR in the team’s early season time trial…Ran a 15:12 5k while placing 15th at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational…Concluded the season with a 14:53 5k PR at the West Coast Last Chance meet…CCAA Spring All-Academic award winner.
