Opened season with a 45th place run at the Humboldt Invitational…Raced to a big 24:51 8k PR at the Capital Cross Challenge while placing 42nd overall…Finished 28th at the Triton Invitational…Lowered his 8k XC PR to a 24:46 while placing third overall at the Doc Adams Invitational…Concluded the fall season with a 14:43 PR-tying 5k track time trial…On the track, raced only once at the West Coast Last Chance meet due to injury.
 
2015–16
Redshirted entire freshman year in both cross country and track…Opened the fall season with a 15th place effort (16:15) at the Garin Park XC Challenge…A mid-season injury ended the fall campaign prematurely…On the track, began the spring with a 15:04 debut at the 5k distance while placing ninth in his heat at the San Francisco Distance Carnival…The Chico Twilight Invitational brought a 4:01.1 1500m debut…Rolled to another PR at the 5k distance, clocking in at 15:00 at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational…Concluded the season with a huge 14:43 5k PR at the West Coast Last Chance Invitational.
 
Pre-Chico Days
A standout in the always deep Orange County prep distance running scene…Enjoyed a breakout senior year in cross country and track at Costa Mesa High School…Finished 15th in the Orange County Cross Country Championships…Recorded a three-mile PR of 14:53 at the Woodbridge Invitational…Won the Orange Coast League Championship….Took first at the CIF section preliminaries and then eighth in the final to qualify for the CIF State Championships…Finished 10th overall (15:56) at the state meet to earn All-State honors…Posted track PRs in the 1,600-meter and 3,200-meter distances…Raced to a 3,200-meter PR at the Arcadia Invitational in 9:14…Ran a 4:17 PR in the 1,600 meters at the Trabuco Hills Invitational…Orange Coast League Champion in both the 1600- and 3200-meter events…Posted a time of 9:25 in the 3200 meters at the CIF Finals.
