- Lettered in both cross country and track & field
- Was named the 'Fastest Freshman'
- Earned the 'Hammer' award his junior year for having a personal best performance at NCS and helping the team qualify for State
- Earned the 'Knight' award as a senior for outstanding contributions to the team
- Was a scholar athlete from the Athletics Boosters for being a senior with teh top athletic performance in the school

Personal
- Parents are Tim and Jen
- Has one sister, Bee
- Chose Chico State for "the opportunity to go to a great school and be part of an amazing cross country and track team!"
- His greatest in sports moment thus far was "Racing in the DAL Championship in the 800-meter, being bold and leading the race the entire way, missing the State qualifier mark by 0.02 second. While this was a disappointment, I feel I did everything I could to achieve my goal."
- The most impressive thing he's done outside sports was earning his Eagle Scout that took six years of hard work
- Can play the trumpet
- When he has free time, he enjoys hanging out with friends, doing outdoor activities like backpacking, mountain biking and snowboarding
- An interesting thing about him is "I spent the summer before my freshman year doing trail conservation work in remote areas of Alaska."
- The best advice he received was from one of his coaches: "that we are capable of doing hard things. This has brought me success in endurance activities like distance running and backpacking treks."
