2011-2012: Earned All-American honors while placing 19th at the NCAA Championships...Helped the team to a top-four finish a trophy...Placed ninth at the NCAA West Regionals, earning All-West Region honors, while helping the 'Cats to their 13th straight NCAA Championship berth...Won the CCAA title to earn CCAA Runner of the Year and All-CCAA honors...Led a pack of 10 Wildcats to top 11 finishes on the way to the team title...Led the team with a 14th place Stanford Invite run (24:23 8k) which was his only pre-championship season run… Missed entire 2012 track season with knee injury.

2010-2011: Placed 70th at the NCAA Championships…Placed 23rd at the West Regional Championships...Sidelined due to a hamstring injury during the CCAA Championships…Finished 14th at the Santa Clara Invitational with a 24:20 time…Ran a PR of 24:06 at the Willamette Invitational…Placed 47th at the Stanford Invitational…On the track, Sherrod finished in fourth place, behind three teammates, in the CCAA Championships 5K…Posted the fifth fastest 10K PR in school history, 29:58, at the Mt. SAC Invitational…Ran a PR of 14:35 in the 5K at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival.

2009-2010: Opened season with a 25:20 run at the Willamette Invitational, good for 34th overall…Finished 15th at the Santa Clara University Invitational in a PR time of 24:55… The ninth Wildcat to cross the finish line at the CCAA Championships, finishing 15th overall and earning All-Conference honors…On the track, fought through a variety of injuries to record a 14:53 PR in the 5K at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival and a 4:00 1,500 meter PR at the Chico Twilight Invitational…Finished the season with a 3:59 1,500 PR while placing sixth at the CCAA Championships.

2008-2009: Red Shirted both cross country and track during his freshman year at Chico State…In first race as a redshirt, finished 45th with a time of 26:05 in a competitive field at the Aztec Invitational…Sidelined by injuries before returning to action with a 31:52 10k run at the Almond Bowl, finishing second overall…On the track, recorded a 15:00 PR for 5k at the Chico Twilight Meet after spending the early part of the season out of competition due to injury.

High School: Sherrod finished fourth at the State Cross Country Championships (DII) as a senior at Steele Canyon High School in San Diego…On the track, won the San Diego Section title in the 3,200-meter event and recorded prep PR’s of 4:18 for 1,600 meters and 9:17 for 3,200 meters.
