- His dad is his hero (“He taught me how to be a man and how to hold myself to a higher moral standard”)
- The person he most admires in the sports world is former pro basketball player and current Sacramento-area coach David Ancrum (“He has been a coach and a role model to be since the age of eight, and has taught me many invaluable lessons”)
- Favorite course at Chico State is Introduction to Multicultural and Gender Studies, taught by Bruce Smith-Peters
- Why he chose to attend Chico State: “The coaching staff and major program”
- His greatest sports moment so far is being able to play college basketball
- The most interesting thing he’s ever done is go indoor skydiving
- The most impressive thing he’s ever accomplished is being a first generation college student
- Has learned by playing basketball that “in order to shine in front of thousands, you have to outwork millions in front of no one”
- Enjoys playing guitar, riding dirt bikes, and spending time with friends
- Says playing the guitar is his biggest non-basketball talent
- Grew up wanting to be a professional bass fisherman
